Difference Between Speaker vs Woofer

speaker vs woofer

Music is a really big influence in our lives. It either makes us feel happy, sad, in love or just simply in the mood to jump start the day. Good thing there’s lots of way to enjoy it, you can now just plug something in our ears and then forget about the world around you and some would really love to share it with their friends. Maybe that is the main reason why speakers and woofers are invented, to share.

Speaker has an innovative design to produce a much louder sound to be heard by everyone. It is typically has a 3.5mm jack for the input sound and also color coded ones. It is an enclosure device which consists of woofers and tweeters.

Woofer, unlike speaker, is designed to produce much more lower frequency sounds, mostly the main sound here is the bass. It is derived from the slang word loudspeaker driver or in the deep sound word “Woof” . Nowadays most of the teen-agers are using this device, especially if their song choice is more upbeat and got lots of bass beats in it. As well as speakers, it often comes with a universal size jack.

Speaker and Woofer can have a big difference depending on the listeners or the place where you are going to use it.
