Difference Between Diet Coke vs Coke Zero

diet coke vs coke zero

Before the creation of these “flavors” of Coca-Cola products, people settled for the original taste, color, and the acidity of the original Coke. But then as people become conscious of their figure, as well as their health, the Coke we used to love also had an evolution – the Diet Coke and Coke Zero.

Unknown to most, Diet coke has been in the market for 33 years. It was introduced in the year 1982, and became an option for people who don’t like sugar or wants Coke without the sugar content. It maintains the same “Coke” taste, as the product’s motto, “Always Great Taste,” and has an artificial sweetener (Aspartame). Checking the nutritional content shows zero Calories, Fat, Carbs, and Protein; but 70mg of Sodium.

Introduced in 2005, Coke Zero promises no added calories for those maintaining their body and caloric intake. The main target of this product is for men, such that the label or design of the product shows a bolder, darker color and images. It promises, “Real Coca-Cola Taste and ZERO Calories,” and Aspartame and Acesulfame potassium as artificial sweeteners. It does have the same nutritional content with Diet Coke, but the taste is stronger, crisper and sharper.
